BORN AS A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT BETWEEN VIETNAMESE AMERICAN ROUNDTABLE & UNION OF VIETNAMESE STUDENT ASSOCIATIONS, NORTHERN CALIFORNIA.
As a collective group of Asian-American youth, the mission that we strive to bring to fruition is built on seeing the festivities of Lunar New Year in a modern light. Through the collective efforts of both young professionals, college students and the community, we aim to create a new image of what it means to be a festival for Lunar New Year in San Jose.
In the Year of the Dragon, we find this year's theme, Bridging Generations, coming together to bridge the generational gap, uniting the wisdom of the old with the vitality of the young in celebration of the Lunar New Year. This joyous occasion serves as a powerful reminder that traditions passed down through the ages continue to thrive, while also evolving with the energy and creativity of the next generation. As we gather to mark this special year, let us embrace the rich tapestry of our shared heritage, where the old and the young harmoniously unite in the spirit of renewal and hope.
